Our workshops are facilitated by experienced local Melbourne artists and we aim to provide a platform for creative leaders to share their skills with our creative community. Paper-cut Card Making Workshop
DATE: Saturday, 25 May, 1:30pm – 3:30pm, $25 single adult, $45 parent and child price
Adult participants will learn to cut stencils from paper and turn them into unique cards. Children will have the chance to attend with a parent and make their own personalised creative cards with child-friendly techniques and materials.

Night Photography & Painting with Light
DATE: Tuesday 14 May 6:30-9:30PM, $75
In this workshop, you will learn how to use the manual settings on your camera to create long exposures and work with natural and artificial light to capture photographs using the wonderful “painting with light” technique. You need your own digital camera with long exposure capabilities for this workshop.

Making Shirts into Skirts: Upcycling workshop with Ellie Mücke

Design + Screen Print + Sew Your Own Purse

In this 2-day workshop Liz will guide you through the process of turning your idea into a hand-cut stencil, screen-printing it onto fabric, and sewing it into a fab zippered purse to take home.

Super Rad Nail Art Workshop

Kick off your girls’ night out with Melbourne’s most exciting nail art duo, The Super Rad Nail Sisters!

Make a Hand-Painted Silk Scarf

Intermediate WordPress Workshop: Host your own WordPress website.
DATE: Tuesday, 26 March 2013, 6:30-9PM
This workshop is an extension to the “Intro to WordPress” workshop. We’ll briefly review WordPress.com basics, then dive straight into hosting your own WordPress site (using WordPress.org and not WordPress.com). You will gain a higher-level understanding of WordPress and how to go about installing it on your own server.

Hi, will you be running other workshops during April and May to help with your fundraising? Would love to attend one of the silk painting workshops or similar.

Thanks for your comment. Currently our fundraising is via Pozible – an Australian crowdfunding platform. We have to reach our target of $7000 before 1 May before we announce our next workshop series. There may be some more workshops in the pipeline but we’re not too sure how we will continue. Stay tuned!
