Colour Box Studio is super pleased to announce that over 100 keen beans have registered to take part in the Colour Box Studio Disposable Camera Project: Third Edition, AND we’ve smashed our crowdfunding target via our Pozible campaign already! Thanks to everyone who’s signed up for a camera, pledged or helped spread the word about the #CBSDCP!
If you’d like to participate, get in quick! We’ve been plotting and planning with our Project Partner Ruffian Gallery and Major Supporter Prism Imaging to accommodate as many participants as possible, and we’ve released a few additional spots. These spots will sell fast, so pledge to our Pozible campaign HERE and claim the “Participate!” Rewards ($25 or $55) to get on board!
Colour Box Studio is now working on the CBSDCP: 2013 photobook – a specially curated, limited edition book that will feature photos taken in both the First and Second Editions of the Disposable Camera Project 2013. HUNDREDS of beautiful and surprising images were created during last year’s editions of the Project, we just had to find a way to get a record of them out into the world for others to enjoy and marvel at!
You can purchase a copy of the book by pledging to our Pozible campaign HERE and claiming the “CBSDCP: 2013 Photobook” Reward or the “Participate + CBSDCP: 2013” Reward. All funds will help cover the costs of building and installation materials, extra printing, and signage to accommodate DOUBLE the number of participants we’d planned for! And if we’ve got a bit of cash left over, who knows what exciting things we can concoct for our Exhibition Opening!

- Shoot weekend for registered participants: Saturday 20th -Sunday 21st September 2014
Exhibition open hours: Friday 3rd-Sunday 12th October at Ruffian Gallery, 361 Barkly St Footscray. Open Thursday and Friday: 3pm-7pm, Saturday and Sunday: 12pm-4pm.
