We are into our Writing and Performance program and things are going swimmingly… check out the Colour Box Studio Management Team hard at work on a cold day (thankfully we’ve just purchased a new and bigger heater so things will be toastier from now on!).

This Saturday 22 June 2013 is the last day to come and have a browse through Torika Bolatagici’s Community Reading Room. You’ll find a diverse collection of texts exploring visual arts culture and cultural identity . We invite you to come down, take a seat and have a read. Torika has also provided note books and pencils for those who are doing research. Here’s a little video that I put together with Torika talking about the Community Reading Room:
Story collector/artist Suzanne Nguyen will be ending her residency at Colour Box Studio with a free event, ‘The end is the beginning’ – an Open Day/ Exhibition this Sunday 23 June from 11:30am.
Coming up we’ve got some great writing and design workshops, a Pop Up Book Shop in the making (!), a FREE short film screening and Q&A from the Young Media Makers Project (29 June, 3:30pm), filmmaker and writer Kathryn Goldie is starting a residency and more… stay tuned via the Facebook Event.
